Alex!!!! SO cynical. Would I do that, Really

No mate. It's up at the Guru's as we speak, waiting to be joined up with the bike; then it will be coming back to have the fuel tank, body etc etc made. Then painting. Then wiring.

And there is another one quitely being prepared a few degrees west.

Finger's crossed some components will appear sooner rather than later. Their absence is holding things up.

Yeah, really.

I've just updated my thread from Trek. Version 1.3 of the airbox mods, if you're interested.
It's been moved from here to 'Some assembly required' and the link is in the sticky at the top of the Hacks threads list.

Yeah, tyres are tubeless, but I've now got a car tyre on the back. I looked at the raising blocks but decided to go with longer, beefier rear shocks.

Where did you get the raising blocks from ? My 1400 is slowly coming along, got the front end, got the chassis, got the boat, got the brackets to weld on the bike, just gotta have the time to fit it all together.

The rear car tyre on my 1400 outfit is a tubeless Kymho 205/50/17. I have just fitted my second car tyre after getting 21,000 kms out of the first. (It still had maybe another 1,500kms left)
No issues, very happy.

On the front original rim I have a 130/70/17. Same as the chair wheel.

Coming along nicely there Bully. Just a bit of info fwiw. I'm not going the raising blocks route with mine. We've fitted a pair of longer and slightly beefier rear shocks. kills two birds with one stone and means there's no need for blocks.
