Silva's Saloon in Bernalillo, NM FOR SALE

Those of you who have had the fun and pleasure of visiting Silva's Saloon in Bernalillo - now is your chance to have this historical for your very own.

The Sandoval SignPost has a great front page article on the saloon - which was featured in GQ Magazine around 5 years ago. This authentic "NM saloon," has been in business over 70 years, and it is rumored that Mr. Silva purchased the first liquor license in the State. He says he has gotten too old to run it, and his 52 year old daughter doesn't feel up to it either. Some people think it is haunted (of course).

I don't know the asking price, but if I had the spare change it would certainly be an interesting investment.

where is Silva's saloon? Have never seen it in my travels through Bernalillo. What does his 52 year old daughter look like? Is she single? Just wondering...

Silva's is about 3-4 doors down (south) from The Range, on the same side of the street. It is a really fascinating place to have a brew, but I'm not sure of the hours. I've only been there once or twice with folks from here. Mr. Silva is quite the character - a LOT of fun.

His daughter? Well, I think I've seen her....but I wasn't really looking.

Silva's isn't QUITE big enough for indoor XR100 flattrack night, but it may work....

Would you guess HUNDREDS? of thousands?
I'd honestly go in on the partnership if it was doable...

Hmmmm. I don't think it is uncomon for a liqour license to cost upwards of 100K in NM. Of course the purchase would include the license. Does he own the building?

Might not be a bad idea, just have to make sure the owners don't drink the
profits!!
