my rear brake light is stupid on my 640adv..

anybody else with a 02 have a stooopid rear brake light.... seems like a problematic area.. It doesnt like to work...

Whats the issue? Bulb? Socket? Wiring? On my 04SXC it blows the bulbs easily. Switching to a long life (LL) heavy duty bulb helped. More detail on problem in post would be useful (hint!)

Stock bulb toast within 20 miles, heavy duty bulb, toast within 50 miles. So; I went with a replacement LED bulb,works.

second bulb this summer.... hmmmm LED.... ill try one of those.....

Just bulb... I was just ranting in the original post... Im gonna try a heavy duty or LED, what ever they have locally for the weekend...

Mine has killed an LED, no better than anything else.
They seem to fail just after I forget how to take that access door off the back of the fixture....
