Hey,

Here's a good thread to read about some college kids taking off on old bikes across the country.

Keep moving the tags!

Greg

Thanks Greg. What was that thread again? It sounds really interesting, but I think you forgot to link it.

I'll keep moving tags when ever I get the opportunity.

That's an awesome thread! Thanks for pointing me to it. If only I had the money (and nerve) to do something like that, myself. Maybe someday...

Great read, thanks again!

Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Nevada

Lots of people brag about Michigan. Seen one tree, they all look the same.

Might be something in the banjo part of the state, but if you have to travel why would you stay in the corn belt.

I heard something about some fire roads in Michigan. I've been looking and don't really see much about them at all.

Look some more, Michigan is full of riding, the farther north you go the more you will find.

It is good to see more ADVriders in the area.

Silveralt when you find a spot to ride your 490 let me know I picked up a Husky this summer and would like to find some place to ride it.

Does anyone have or know of a KTM525exc around Columbus or Bloomington (south central IN) that I would be able to test ride. Nothing difficult I just want to see how the gears are spaced and lighter weight than my XRR (mainly first gear).

I love the XRR but I dont need all the power but I could use a lower first with a higher final. Lighter weight is nice too but after aftermarket protection and dualsport/comfort stuff its about the same I would think.

All the riding I can find is up north. I'm not looking to hit red bud. I'd like to find those fire roads!
