As you're heading south through California, if you need a bite to eat or a couch to crash on, PM me here in Anaheim. We're about 2 hours from the Mexican border. If you want to burn big $$, we're 1/2 mile from Disneyland. Now put that DR to the test!
Safe Travels John

Just got done with Arkansas, great state for motorcycling. Starting to shed layers at it warms up. Loving the new Arai XD's visor as I head west. Getting 50 mpg going 60 on the highway, moving roadblock for the 70 speed limit, lol. When I cross over, I should fit right in :)
Thanx for offer to stay in Anaheim, might just. After SF, meeting a friend in San Diego to go ride Palomar mtn - must do from my sport bike days :) (Posting with great tmobile 3G coverage in rural Teaxs :) )

Thanks for the support. In Ft Worth tonight, staying with ADVer Texasyeti, got a nice collection of old BMW GS's and 2 dogs :) Had dinner in the old Stockyard part of the city, very nice western culture.
Got the whole of West Texas to do tomorrow and probably in some rain, heading to Las Cruces. Bike is running fine. I'll post more pictures of the trip prep once I get to San Fran.

Keep updates as you go regarding anything you might need. Im sure there's ADV'ers all over that would be more than willing to lend a helping hand along your travels!
Like if you need a screwdriver, poor directions, or a beer while near los angeles, let me know!

Riding in and out of rain, but enjoyable as I'm dry :) Rhythm on these long days is 2 hrs in the saddle then 30 mins break. Pace will slow down after I cross the border.
Texas is definitely truck country, lol, but they're all nice. Never did like Texas' exit ramps onto the frontage road, on coming traffic. Saw an accident like that ystdy. Thanx for hosting me James. Enoyed your dogs :) would like to tour with a sidecar someday and a pooch.
