This is a fun road.

I roll back down the hill.

Proof I was there.

I stopped at this stream to find waterfalls.

I Love the Arizona Desert

My Favorite Shot of the Day

I've always wondered what all the dry washes were for in the desert. Who knew water used them?

I made it back across Queen Creek. It was much easier (and more fun) with a little momentum this time.

I slab it back home in North Phoenix. Not a bad 1/2 day of riding.

Thanks for looking.

I plan get out for a 4 day ride in a couple weeks. Until then...

Most excellent!

Dave,

Beautiful images!!!

Thanks for sharing these. My wife and I are visiting Benson area from western NY ... where it is sunny and about 50 degrees today!! I thought AZ got the sun!

Your composition in your pics is really, really good. Are you doing any post processing on the images to get that incredibly vibrant color?

Thanks for taking the time to write this up and share the day.

Thanks for sharing, great pics... I was out there with Nightstalker and Javalina, I'm surprised we didn't cross paths.

This and some of your other shots could be the cover for Arizona Hiways. Great photos. I'm planning a ride soon around Montana mtn.

I stashed 'em nearby. I'll sell 'em real cheap. Pay up and I'll tell you where to find 'em.

You guys must've been right behind me until you turned off to head east. I guess I should pay better attention to local rides listed in the West Regional thread.

Yes. I've been experimenting with not only taking better photos with my first DSLR, but with learning to post-process. I used Lightroom 3 Beta, which can be downloaded from Adobe's website and used for free until the end of April. I'm liking it so far and will probably buy it when the actual product is released. Only about half of these photos were shot with the DSLR. Almost all of the road photos were shot with an old Panasonic TZ5 point-and-shoot.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

Thanks!

I tend to ride alone, but should get out and meet more of the local riders.
