Garmin Zumo660/Mac

I added a POI file which turned out to be something like 1500 points. Now I can't seem to get rid of them.

I deleted what I thought was the file in the POI folder and in Roadtrip deleted them but every time I do an update they come back.

I also can't seem to remove custom routes from the GPS except one by one on the GPS itself. What am I missing here?

With some of the newer software where the GPS is recognized as a drive by the computer, you need to empty the trash before you eject the GPS in order for the deletions to work.
