The Greater Catskills Area BK.RD.Run Version 2.0 Aug. 14th & 15th 2010

* THIS IS AN INFORMAL GROUP RIDE. SHOW UP WITH YOUR BUDDIES, AND GO*

Well we had a great time last year, so here we go again!

I'm planning a similar format to last year's ride, and changing up the routes a bit. Hopefully we'll have good weather without the dust this time!

Feel free to refer to last years thread to get an idea of specifics...

The Greater Caskills Area BK.RD.Run Aug. 15th & 16th 2009

Hope to see the framiliar faces as well as some new ones .

I would appreciate any input concerning other events in the region/ADV. community that may conflict with these dates.

As well, any locals in the vacinity who would have suggestions for dirt/ seasonal use only roads to add to the route would be appreciated.

Recon rides will be Fridays and or Sundays this year if anyone wants to tag along, or show me around some new roads (or trails ).

Feedback Welcomed!!

Oh, and I promise, before I pack my tent, or get the bike ready, this year... Kindling will be in the SV .

...Letz Do It!...

Recon ride tomorrow 4/2...

Riding out of Margaretville, and heading north looking for dirt roads/ seasonal use roads. Should be a nice day for a ride in the Catskills .

More the merrier

When are you thinking of leaving tomorrow out of MV? I have the day off and want to iron out the bugs of a lot of changes to the ride over the winter. How tough is the terrain?

Leaving at 11:30ish from the Hess station on rt 28. This is scouting some new stuff, but shouldn't be anything too knarly. Probably some seasonal use roads at worst.
