For Sale By Owner
Make BMW
Model R-Series
Year 1981
Kilometers 35457
Engine Displacement (cc) 800
Colour White

It is a nice bike , in a very good shape and low km. It has a synthetic coated frame,so no more rost. For a better driving the R80GS has Wilbers frontforks and a Wilbers Shock Absorber in the rear. The seat is new and original from BMW,also the two side cases are original, but used.

It is a Special Edition Model, with a signature from a Paris Dakar driver on the tank.
The RPM meter is not original, also the front and rear fender and the indicators. The brake lines from the front are in steelflex. The tires looks like new .Only a few km on it.
Our friend imported this bike in 2002 from Germany. Since this time is the bike registered in Nova Scotia. He was only for some weeks on vacation in Canada and drove with the bike not more than 500km. The bike stayed the hole time in his garage.
We make a new service on the R80GS with oil change, filter and gear oils, adjust the ventils and the carburator and put a new batterie in.
We sell the bike for him now.We come from Canso ,NS, and opened last year a new sale shop and Workshop. We work on all bikes,ATV’s,snowmobiles and Jetskis. We are also an Official Inspection Station for motorcycle and trailer .
In a few weeks we can put your bike on our Dyna Power stand.

Nice price. I wonder how a bike like this could be "imported" into the US. I notice it has the old style peanut valve covers. Looks awesome at that price.

Awesome price, low miles, nice bike! The Raven should have waited for this one. The tank isn't original - signed PD tanks only came on the 85 and 86 models as I recall. But who cares?

As for importing - I think it's old enough it won't be a problem.

As of this morning that equates to $4143.16 USD assuming the price is quoted in Canadian dollars.

The Raven is looking for a second g/s. This is the perfect candidate.

I know RIGHT where that is...I spent summer growing up 50 miles from there...AND i'll be in NS next month....hmmmmm

I'm happy with the one I got...I like the Dunkle blue color, like Cordless, and Like that I got to learn about my bike.
