Just a general question. I've got an '89 R100GS and am drooling over all these airhead dirt bikes. Really like the old's cool design elements and DIY nature of these seemingly endlessly moddable bikes. Makes me want to unload my other bikes and concentrate on only the GS. My question is: Just how capable is an airhead dirtbike? And what are they best at? Just collating...

They do pretty well with the right rider They really are best at dirt road bombing. technical single track is obviously a hefty task, but going the distance is what they excel at
