IMO

Just about all Airheads can be GS'able . . . just depends on the $$$ you have lying around to throw at it.

Extend the swingarm 100mm.
Mount longer twin shocks.
Long travel forks, WR Yamaha will do and you are away.

then just go out and enjoy

Probably worth adding some frame reinforcements to that shortlist also..

caja sahel adapter plate

Well folks , as some of you know i am in the process of having an
adapter made to allow the usage of the Std Airhead Gearbox married to the
R1100GS Driveshaft. This allows for better handling , improved brakes ,
longevity of the driveshaft , and for me it looks better.
At every juncture i am asked the one question . How Many ? .
Its not just as simple as fitting there are frame modifications that are
necessary as well , so this is not a pancea for the Airhead drive problems.
Basically i am after an idea of how many of you would be interested in this
part if it were available.
Please only subscribe to this if you are interested , genuinely .
Oh , no one mentioned money yet , i am just after numbers for now which
will have a bearing on the cost.

I would take one. Presently looking at another solution. But if it works out and is reasonable, yes.
