305racer, my mates bike is a 1984 Z750. He used the front end from a TT600 and had some shocks made for the rear, it all works suprisingly well and is a hoot to ride. Realy freaks the the moto guys when they here it coming and then when they see it.
Stagehand, outback N.S.W. is a fantastic ride, hundreds of kilometers of gravle, sand and dirt, an amazing landscape. You can ride all day and not see anyone else on the road. I realy should do a ride report of my trip. Some more pictures. ![]() Sturt national park ![]() Z750 Dirt bike ![]() Summer in the pines.

sorry guys, ahead a time..
i am thinking of modifiing my g/s b/c i am 6'4". i have a front end off of a kx 500, so i want to raise the back up , i have olihs on rear already. is having the swing arm lengthed 100mm and shaft all that is nessesary to bring bike up level? i also need to know were to brace the bike frame. as fare as parts goes does some one in the USA have the tripple tree already made for the g/s to accept biger forks (??43's) and does anyone do the fabrication on the swingarm. i can weld but i am not sure i can get swing arm lined up right. is there a list someone has made, on must do modifications if one was going to undertake this build? i am new and didn't get time to read the 34 pages. thanks

Planning that trip, again
|
The Toowoomba GS Shop
). I will be doing the run in riding this week. This one is similar to my G/S special, with some improvements. A 43L tank, 100 power up kit, Twin Plugged, 100mm swingarm extension, frame braced by Paul Rooney, Darrell Short Full Foran Exhaust, KTM LC4 USD Front end. Should have both at Moonan Flat in Feb. I will post pics of both bikes as soon as possible as well as Comparo pics with a modified G/S to highlight ground clearence.
