Thanks to Stagehand for hosting those pics. They got lost for a while as they were diverted from the text, but luckily they were located.

The refurbished bike is typical of what Ray does in that it looks reasonably standard to the passer by and doesn`t show the amount of work that went into it.

It has new or rebuilt just about everything, including single seat and rack, 1000cc barrels, twin plug heads and 5% higher top gear. It still has the original 37/11 final drive ratio.

The swingarm was not lengthened to keep costs down, but that can be done later if the bike it too skittish on dirt roads.

Here is pic of my bike with the Givi screen fitted. It was for an R1150R.
Takes a fair amount of wind of the chest.

I had the very same fairing on my R850R and found it upset the steering. I shortened the screen a bit, but wrote the bike off before I found out if things were improved. Does your bike handle OK, Pezz?

At 1 stage I was crusing at around 160kph. No worries.
Im running 10% taller gearing than stock.
5% taller 5th anfd 32:10 final drive.
Oh . . . and a 70HP RS motor

I just got it. Its very tongue-in-cheek.

He just stuck a Yam tank on an R80, and jokingly implied he swapped out all the parts individually from an '82 Seca to an R80 except the tank. cute.
