Take it to the Harley bashing thread.

I don`t see the problem....

If I could only have one bike, I would sell the others and keep the G/S.

Don't know if this one has been posted ... but another inmate sent this to me ... and I don't think I could scream 'WANT' any louder. This is just freakin' sexy.

Dirtbike.

It has to be able to kick start to be a true dirt bike.

my last restoration

This is my latest restoration. An early enduro tag. Of all the beemers I have, I like the semplicity and elegance of this bike. I have tried to be respectful to the time of the bike installing parts which produced in the mid 80s (beside the front rotor).
The tank is fiberglass, the engine is an r 100 egine with magnesium valve covers, dellortos, and of course the elongated reinforced TAG alumswingarm.

My gs version

Hello to all, I love this thread! I recently started my own GS based off a R75/6. I bought a toolbox tank from ebay.de, I am using a /6 solo seat, ufo enduro fenders, a acerbis vintage elba headlight and an acewell speedo/tach.

I want to use he stock wheel/final setup with a lengthened swingarm. Is anyone charging to lengthen it with a current jig setup?

Thanks for any thoughts and input?

+1, Quedok did the work on mine as well. I don't think I posted any pics of it, but it looks great.

I just stored my 1985 R 80 G/S after it broke down a few months ago and bought a F 658 gs to take over the commuting and psychotherapy tasks on me.

I had the old mule in the back yard covered up and thinking of scrap-selling it. After all it did suffered enough for 11 years on my hands, touring the best half of Greece, climbing mountains and crossing rivers.

Coming to think of it, I bought it when I first meet the girl that is now the mother of our 2 children.

After this thread I 've started thinking about mods and restoration, you scams. Hmm let me thing, should the beemer get a new life or send the kids to college? Hmmm...

f@ck and I 'm still in page 41...

Barbadi, I am in Athens and very interested in your bike...
