Slowly coming together
Well I now have a front end for my R80G/S project 'Wolfenfighter'
I bought this last week. Its a KTM 98 Adventure R with a blown gearbox. I have been lusting after the White Power 50mm Extreme forks for years. These are the same front ends on both of my Rallye's. My intention is to graft the complete front end onto my 1980 R80G/S Frame. by Complete I mean bars wheel, brakes. Its amazing how over a period of time you can find all you need to build something up. ![]() Pezz :)

I'd use the fairing as well on the BMW. Always thought his is one of the coolest fairings around, but to bad it wasn't on my GS.

Hi all. New to the board but not to modded bikes. My first love is tinkering with vintage 2 stroke Yamaha's and Kawasaki's but I've been looking for a good mileage eater that's "out of the norm". Not trying to thread jack but this bike is giving me tons of ideas. Is there any more information availabe on it on the web anywhere. I know where I can get my hands on a good K model for next to nothing right now. I've got a front end that I'm sure I could get to work. Any further info greatly appretiated. This is right down my alley...
Thanks! Quote:

From memory its a straight forward conversion. Only thing would be building a Rear Wheel Also search for Frank Warner on ADVRIDER he has one too . . . he is away at the Off Centre Rally in Western Australia at present . . I think . . His web page http://www.geocities.com/fwarner_au/mc_things.htm ![]() enjoy

Hey thanks Pezz. Strangely enough I kind of like it with the cast wheel. Spokes would be an obvious improvment but I could live with it as is. I won't be taking any triple jumps with it anyway.

Aww Pezz you're killing. Very inspirational! That first pic is just sweet!
Not being all that familiar with the K bikes how would that bike ride. With that engine config it wouldn't seem to be topheavy. What kind of weight? Power characteristics?Maybe I should calm down and read the links. Thanks!!
