Some scans about Schek, all in German I'm afraid. Do look on both pages.

That seat looks very high Mick, I`ve got older pics of your bike where it`s much lower.

Been a while since I've had the time to continue the dream...
Still looking for ideas, as I ramp up for Winter build time!

Packbier, good to see a very local airhead over here! I'm from Schimmert.
Do you know about www.bmwgsclub.nl/forum ? We'd really like this kind of machines in the 2V corner.
Did you do anything to the rear swingarm?
Myself, I'm doing a GS version of a '74 R60/6 (2nd attempt), hopefully on the road this weekend. Then I'll post here as well guys, so hold you horses.

Groeten, CLement.

The frame you see is actually a 77R100s. Many of the apendages, brackets
and castings were transplanted from the later model frame to the 77 older one. Foot peg, centerstand, pasenger peg attatchment and shifter & brake
mounts. the sterring head and swing arm pivot points were gusseted. The front end is from a 2004 Suzuki RM. The rear shocks were engineered for
the bike by Works performance in Calif. The swing arm and drive shaft were extended 2,7/8". The roo bar is a GSPD narrowed a few inches, the flat bar
oval hoop incloses a Yamaha FZ 600 dual headlight assembly which works
Great. There are more deer than mosqitoes and knats where I live. It throws
a very wide bar of light out both sides well into the woods and roadside
brush.
I recently added tappered bars and the adapters raised the bars 3/4". It
made a huge difference in comfort. The bike is alot easier and fun to drive.
It handles GREAT!
I would like to give special thanks to Chris King and Paul Lehrer for the
generous technical support that kept this project moving in the right direction.

Ian in New Ulm Tx.

did you extend the swingarm? very few airhead dirtbikes with the conventional swingarm, nice! hoping to do the same on mine eventually.

Nice pipes. Can you show a closeup of those carbs? Are they standard- kinda look like throttle bodies from back here
