How's it look?

Does this liscence plate make my seat look big?

Question fatty seat

Danedg, how do you like the big seat? I have just purchased one in really good condition. I haven't yet put it on the bike. The primary purpose for me was the handles for my wife. Do you find it comfortable?

Ummmm....

I've 25K on that seat.
It's sawed me in half a coupla times... lengthwise! A sheepskin pad helps.
Lucia likes it for the handles, butt we have to put the AllynAir pad on it as she slides down the slope on the leather...see post #1114
It's classic, but it ain't great.
I've a custom upholstery shop workin near me. I'm gonna bring the narrow Schorsch Meier in for a better surface and figure...

Thanks. I guess I'll see how it goes next Spring. It feels like it's pretty good - sitting on my workbench. The springs and foam are in great condition on this one I've just bought. Even the rubber barrier right above the springs is in great shape.

My preference is that an Earles fork deserves a solo seat and a US fork should have a bench. But the bench seat hides the beautiful valance on the rear fender. Maybe I'll buy a solo seat. It wouldn't take long to switch back and forth.
Here's a Russel Day Long seat that came with a '68 R50 I just got. I've never seen one made for a slash 2!
