The local chapter of the old dudes trials club!

This group of 60+ year olds has taken me under their wings, and taught me SO much in just 10 hours, thus far. I'm already comfortable hopping up over boulders/step ups, etc. that I would have never attempted on my own.....having the time of my life, as well as being exhausted after a few hours of following these fellers around. Trials riders really are a good bunch!

I'm hooked.

Oh, I am. I've got two great, patient instructors!

Learned to successfully negotiate a vertical faced 34" tall boulder yesterday, straight up the middle....something I would NEVER have thought to attempt. Once their instructions sunk in to my head, and I sucked up my fear, it became second nature....and I then did it 6 more times! The key for me was to NOT look at the rock, but to look beyond it, which is something I would not have thunk of on my own. After that, all of the smaller obstacles I've feared seemed absolutely minor.

Oh my, what am I becoming??

Now gathering up big hunks of firewood/pallets and stuff to build obstacles....all your fault.

I hate you guys.

That's what these guys did to me as well. I went up a vertical rock on my first time out, didn't I Brewtus?
Now when I am riding my other bikes, I am looking for somewhere to play with the Gas Gas...
For some reason a lot of stuff I see doesn't look too difficult, at least to attempt.
I found "chimney Rock" in Reddington, not a bad place to play around on. Just need someone else in Tucson to go with.

I was giggling, and hugging two grown men I barely know, hope they still want to ride with me.
