Hello. New GS800. First Crash. Great Success

Howdy. Just got my f800gs after being disappointed in the 08 klr. Man, I couldnt be happier. Great bike, was just what I was looking for.

Already took her offroad, hit some mud that didnt look deep, took a spill but no harm, no foul.

Just looking to say hello, and get involved here. I have been reading here for a while but I would really like to get into the community and get in on some good rides. Soooo, if any of yall wanna do some rides (big or small) in houston and beyond. Hit me up. I have a great work schedule and can ride often

My goal is some trips to big bend and then to mexico.

From backup

Check out the Adv-spec crash guards to guard your rad and their excellent skid plate... and welcome aboard

Welcome! Fill out your profile so we all know where you hail from. I'm using the SW Motech crashbars for those days when my GS8 just has to have a nap. No damage to the bike yet.

Ahem. It's an "Engine Protection System".

Nice motorsickle! Now, call up your tire/tyre shop and get some off-road tires put on that puppy!

ok stupid question... what color is your bike? It looks red to me. Is it a 2010 model? I thought they only came in white and orange...
