I was eyeing the Brier Creek tag for this evening, then it went and moved....twice. Too far out of range for me tonight.

What's the deal with PVT roads in NC, could someone drive/ride on these? I am assuming it's arbitrary, depending where, and who catches who in the act

Generally, when a green street sign says "private" it means that the state does not maintain it. I live on a "private" road. I wish it meant "no trespassing" but it does not!

That cleared things up for me quite a bit. Though I tend to respect signs, if I ever get "lost" it won't feel that much awkward..

Saw that rain is now forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Who bought a new bike?

Sunday looks salvageable and who knows maybe they are wrong about Saturday. My bike still has caked mud on it from last rides I don't bother washing unless I need to work on it. These days I just put miles just by spinning around in large loops with variations, burning tires and gas. Need to start planning that long trip for vacation time, it has been a while.

I don't say this often, but please rain this weekend! I need it nice on Monday for sidecar dog filming.

I pretty much bust ass M-F so that I can ride all weekend. It's a mundane sort of existence in that regard. I don't have a dog, a sidecar or a film project, so I'm going to go ahead and trade my chance for a "nice Monday" for some ride time this weekend.

Gotta go with WB on this one...I work graveyard and don't get much chance to ride during the week so its weekend warrior for me...or not much else...

Normally I'm the same way. I actually burned a vacation day to accommodate Monday filming.

Just picked up the Tiger from its first service, flat tire fixed, and new parts installed. The next day the forecast changed.

Well, damn! Don't do that again. Here I was blaming RD for the whole changing forecast thing!!!

We have a culprit! I have to shoulder some blame too. I have a seat on my Tuono, that I need to get some miles on and see if it helps alleviate my tailbone pain. I've been itching to ride for several days. It sucks to wait, but once Monday gets here, honestly, my schedule improves vastly, and if I have to ride Monday and Tuesday, then that's what I'll do! Looks like 70* and sunny next week!
