I took back roads to the tag so i went right passed Johnson's...they had their fire going...smelled great...Skipping the Q this week as money is tight and the end of the month is another 8 days away... I saw alot of cool things to tag but i didnt want to stop riding as i was really enjoying the backroads with no freakin traffic...its pretty addicting...gonna put up a file tag soon.

I hadn't gotten a file tag there yet, but I just drove by that 4 times in the last week picking up cousins... Even had to explain to wife and kid why I hated tar snakes (and what tar snakes are)

:)

I found that road grabbing a tag a few weeks ago. Nice road, at one time. But someone went overboard with tar patch and ruined it for two wheeled vehicles. Those snakes can be slippery, even when it's not hot out! Still can't figure out why they spray so much of that garbage on that road!

aggg cant sleep...anyways that road sucks. Its covered in tar snakes from Rolesville Rd all the way to 96...the worst stretch is after Mitchell Mill Rd going towards 96....I was on a short stretch of fouler this a.m. and it was squiggly...Awful cheap way to fix a road...only thing worse is that chip and seal crap...

ran into a lot of them on the other end of Uwharrie a few summers ago - not even pressed flat - thats much worse than the stuff on 96. Also that friggin soul city grab from the NC TOR game - some of those roads are more tar snakes than asphalt.
