Yup its another brutal one...thats why I was out early..I aint goin nowheres for the rest of the day. Yesterday after grabbing the tag in Cary..I stopped at a convienience store and bought a large bottle of h2o and drank half and poured the rest over my head and onmy shirt. I had the coolevest on too so I was soaked...but a couple blocks down and it was all warm. Humidity makes for ineffective evaporation

I had lofty goals, was going to roll out to the hills, and bring the NCT back as I have nothing to do today. (Original plan was get up early and fetch it, but AC and sleep won out over early)

Sadly I hadn't even checked this one, as I did make it out past our realm to GSO, but was done. Pouring water on myself wasn't helping much, so I figured I should just come home.
Just f'in brutal.

Am I going to be the only one to get the predicted 103 in front of a bank sign today?

I'd be surprised if my date stamp will ever say anything other than 1/1/2007 or 1/2/2007. Every time I turn it off the date resets and I'm just too lazy to go through the process of setting the date over and over again.

PS. Great tag...love making the trip past the lake up Lake Myra road.

Road the trails for 2 hours this morning from 9-11. We took several breaks along the way. By the time I got the bike loaded back into the truck, I was drenched...probably carrying 10 pounds of sweat in my clothes! I was wringing water out of my jersey and helmet pads!
