After seeing all the gravel riding the western boys were doing, I wanted to try:

So I went to the park for some maintence on my bit and bridle and found this remnant of an abandoned group camp.

Subject got lost by the phone post. Tag #3.
If you get there after 8, you'll miss the gravel riding. But a pic of the closest gate will suffice. (Or there is a closer place, that would earn brownie points, but sadly, no motorized vehicles down the last 200 yards from that entrance)

Tag #2 was on the corner of Stony Hill Rd and Bud Morris Rd(the clue in my original post), about a mile or so north of Hwy 98 about 4- miles west of Wake Forest. It's sorta behind Hassentree, you pass the back entrance on Stony Hill. Hassentree is the most expensive subdivision/community/neighborhood in the Triangle.

About tag #3. I do know of one park, that has an abandoned camp. The place REALLY reminds me of Camp Crystal Lake from the Friday the 13th movies! It's creepy. But I may be thinking of an entirely different place.

*Didn't realize you could drive/ride in all the way to the old camps...might make a run for it after dinner!

BHW,

Thanks for the clues insight, I mistakenly focused on Morrisville. I do like to ride to and taking pictures of Veterans Memorials so I will make sure I go by the the Church and the Wake County memorial in person one day.

I though the "my bud Morris" might have been vague. But a quick Google of Bud Morris Wake County gives it away.

Those were the two primary clues I gave in my original post.

Since it's running out of time the park is open,
the park was named for the governor of NC from 1953-1954.
And for "Bit and bridle" the clue would be better served with "bike and bridle" as that's what the sign says.

I remembered wrong when trying to type it up at Taco Bell.

Nice grab. Glad someone got it before the park closed.

It's kind of fun all the gravel back in there. I still wish you could cut through the park to get to Harrison. (Edit: LEGALLY. I mean, you can now, just it's frowned on unless you're pedaling or walking)

Tag #5 of Triangle Tag-O-Rama: No further clues necessary, in my opinion.

In the a.m. if no one is ambitious enough for a night tag.

I even thought of running the long way to work to grab this one, but was already running late, and since I was meeting my new boss today, figured it would be bad form to be much later.
That and someone else stated they'd grab it in the AM.

Lucky. I'm on conference calls. Course drinking would help make them more exciting. But I doubt it would help my future employment.
