well, I thought about moving this farther out, but last time I did that nobody got it all weekend - so I'm saving the file tags for later.

here is an almost festive decoration of sorts.... tried finding something better, but this will do for now.

here is where it is... lots of traffic up there - watch people turning in to the next entrance as you exit the sidewalk.... (alternately, you can get the other side of the snowman from behind the restaurant there).

Personally, I'd plant nice trees instead of art, but whatever floats your boat.
That's "art"? No wonder I don't know sh*t about art. Sure hope that wasn't paid for with a taxpayer funded grant...

Working on a backup plan for grabing the NCTOR tag. It's about a 50:50 shot for tomorrow even if the next couple of hours go as planned. If any of the NCTOR folks are reading this, I'll buy you a nice lunch if you move that thing a couple hours closer to here sometime today.

Good. You got it figured out. You're not too far from where it was moved to.

.. well judging by the posted times and the length of the shadows you should be just about on top of the new one .. it can't be far anyway ..

.. happy hunting ..

that new phone takes ok pics!

he knows where the new one is - I think the fountain was tagged earlier this year.

I need more file tags from farther out.... need to stock up on some. Sort of tired of riding after the trip last week.... you would think 1800 miles would not be that bad in a week.

Found a ton of stuff off 98 between WF and Durham last weekend. A treasure trove I didn't know existed.

yeah - lots of stuff up that way. Been riding those back roads for a few years, you see interesting things..... frisbee golf setups in the middle of nowhere.... interesting yard ornaments and so on. The cow on new light would be cool to tag, but it's on a curve and people drive entirely too fast out that way.... so it's not a good spot for a picture, but they decorate the cow for different holidays.

some nice horse drawn carriages and wagons. A lot of "barn finds" visible from the street (old cars, tractors). Some really interesting historical markers / sites - although the really cool ones are just north of 56 and out of bounds.

That's funny. A guy I used to ride with wanted to tag that every time we headed that way, but didn't for that exact reason.

After driving on that road enough - I hate even crossing it around the bend when hiking. There are some real a$$hat drivers out that way.
