New tag # 1014 me thinks!
1960's history in Raleigh. There was a house here called Belle Acres where Senators and others high in politics in town could be found. The owner was a colorful Duke athlete and the 4 th coach of Appalacian State university. The stadium is named after him. In 1963 he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for bid rigging. He had a going to jail party in his house before spending just 4 months in prison. The house was turned into a restaurant in the 80's. The house burned Nov 6 2005. ![]() ![]() Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Wb. Thought you would know it right off. Don't you have a close tie to App state?
My wife and I ate at the house when it was open. Nice view up there.

I like them rules, what's a good game without them anyway? Top of the hill is more interesting, but probably not on your Road King. Oh yeah, there are some thorns in those woods, a few scratches to prove it....

See starting post 550 and then the next page. Some of you might see familiar area roads and then again not. http://www.i-bmw.com/showthread.php?t=17074&page=11 NCS
