Got a last minute call to run out to one of my suppliers. On Globe Center Parkway. You know, the one about 1/4 mile from the tag???
Grabbed my parts, stopped at the school - probably 5:15-5:20, got the pic and my battery died AS IT WAS UPLOADING to Photobucket...

Here's my now worthless pic...

AT trail. New Hope for those that go the Church of exercise. Not sure if this trail ever went to Fayetteville but it is heading in that direction. It is one of the places we go and bike some.

The Bull City station was there filming (or is that recording now) perhaps the sunset, or perhaps a news story

Great day to ride... and Happy Birthday to you as well. They should be noticed!

I have not had mine noticed by peers or bosses in 10 yrs even though they go to the trouble of posting a list one on their doors.

Life is rich.

Mmonce Happy b-day. The only ones who recognize my birthday is my wife, kids and one of my sisters. Stephen I love the look of that bike. It's purty. I had a nice ride today to just no time to do any tagging.

news story on security cameras being installed... says "a private donor".... wonder if abc11 knows that it is capital broadcasting paying for the first ones? (parent company of WRAL). eh, whatever.

Actually it is this story... and right at the end of the first little "live" section when panning west, they cut things as you can just start to hear me downshifting where I then turned into the drive right at them and across the camera view. I was behind the white Chrysler 300 that you see go by. LOL

Yep. It was panic mode to get to the parts place. They closed at 5, but were waiting for me. Had they closed at 5:30, AND I had a decent battery...

And Happy Birthday, Mmonce!

Not sure if anyone's heading that way, but this just popped up on WRAL:

Breaking News: Hope Valley Road in Durham is closed between Devon Road and Surrey Green Lane because a fallen tree has pulled down power lines, Durham police said. The road is expected to be closed until at least 5 p.m.

That shouldn't be an issue for this location.

my house is within crushing distance of 5 huge Oak trees...love them but they gotta go...everytime a storm comes along i am left to worry about these trees....they are directly ove my bedroom... so... Can anyone recommend a company that would harvest these trees?...Oak is valuable and could be sold...i've heard of some outfits that would come and pay the owners to harvest their trees...but these are really big trees and need big equipment...
