New tag. Clues in pic.

Today was my 1st ride since having surgery on my right arm. I guess I'll find out in the morning how sore the arm will be.

We had that issue with my wife's van one time. They sent the current year sticker, I don't think it was 10 months out but it was at least 4-5. Then she gets the sticker and leaves it off for a year lmao!

You got this via Crapatalk

So the dealer sold the last new XT on island before I could get my cash together and there aren't any coming in for a while.

Anyone have any thoughts on a street legal 2004 yz450f?

This one just showed up in the local classifieds today for $2300.

I haven't ridden one but think of it is a slightly lower maintenance version of the KTM 450 or the Husky 449. It would be a hoot but probably not for carrying gear.

Buy it, ride it and post enough pictures of your adventures to make everyone stuck here green with envy!

I'm glad I didn't use the out of the way, hard to find tag I had in mind or the tag would have sat for a couple of days!

Why do you think it's a lower maintenance?

It's a race bike. Not even the WR version, so not geared for enduro... Hell of a good time, lots of maintenance, no hauling gear...

I was thinking it was a WR when I posted it. Still less maint. than the euro bikes.

Meh..
Still 3 hours for oil changes by the "maintenance schedule"

Still 6 hours for valve checks, 12 hours for adjust,

Sounds much like my KTM...

Just the Jap owners are honest and don't do that much maintenance. Us Euro trash guys lie...

(Ok, I really REALLY need to check my valves, it's been about 40 hours. And I usually go about 6-8 on oil changes... And I need new sprockets and chain.. Damn... But this thing is still a rocket ship off road.... :) )
