Anybody know of an offroad biased forum to meet area off roaders and dual sport riders?

Went out and did a quickie on the power line trails between Alexander Dr and Page Rd. It needs to dry up some, there are some big puddles out there, LOTS of big 4x ruts, and some deep erosion ruts. Anybody else familiar with this spot? Looks like there are a lot of side trails that go into the woods, but I didn't venture down those.

Yea I'm familar with it.

Watch out for those mud puddles. Some are deeper than they look.

I swear getting covered in that mud is what made me sick.

Is that were you did your Dual sport scuba diving?

I looked for the driest route around those big puddles. At one spot, I ventured over into the woods and crawled through the woods past the wet area to avoid going mudding. I don't like mud, or deep water (on the bike). Especially when I'm out there alone. We need to take a ride out there together...so we can laugh at each other!

I'll give you credit, or call you crazy, for going out there with street oriented tires. I have full knobbies, and couldn't imagine anything less!

Anyone up for some lunch today around Raleigh? Just a random lunch. Not trying to start a new lunch thing. All inclusive, not just TARDS or TTOR's. Bike or not. I'll check back to see if any interest. Lunch or not hope everyone has a great day.

It's nearly impossible for me to get away during the middle of the day...especially on the bike. Otherwise, I'd be all over some lunch meetings and weekly gatherings.

Sure.
What part of town you thinking?
I'm working from home cause I'm a slacker, and need to ride somewhere and put the triangle tag up anyway.

I'm flexible on location. You're out in N Raleigh? I'm over near the fair grounds. You like Jason's deli? Spring Forest Rd? Or pick a place. Time? 11:45? If you know of something good near Blue Ridge/Duraleigh that would work too. Might be more centrally located.

Mark and BHW; We'll try for a evening eat and/or ride in the near future. I'm not free most evenings but with a little planning I can try to make it.

anything over near the fair grounds works. Or down glennwood. I'm off of Leesville/540 so could be to the fair grounds quicker than I could get to spring forest.

What's good near duraleigh and glenwood? Pick something near there. Familiar with the area but not eating establishments.

Fat Daddy's and Chipotle are basically right there and both good. Feel like either of those?
