So in the 2 weeks this thread has been going - has there been any organized dual sport ride?

I'm anxiously following as I try to find myself a nice used WR250 (which I think is an impossible task)

Apparently I'm not allowed. My yellow buggers are grossing people out and no one will ride with me.

I'll be out of town the next two weekends. I can ride after work during the week if given a few days notice.

hmmm

I think the ride thread has become another lunch thread.

Not like I'm doing much dual sporting these days... my kick start dr350 ain't starting and my KLR is spewing oil The Honduh runs but it likes sticking to the asphalt.

I like this thread, in principle.

I'll ride ANY weekday afternoon/evening after 5:00pm, or on the weekend.

Next time I go, I will post up beforehand, just to make something official.

I just want to get my damn jeep running and go over there.

Hoping to be down there in the jeep next weekend, might toss the bike on a trailer. Just for giggles.

Didn't stop me from finding some dirt/mud on the way home from work Wednesday.

Not washing your Subaru for a couple months, then rubbing up against it
while walking by it and your Husky, doesn't count for "finding some dirt/mud".

Maybe you should join us tomorrow down in Sanford.

HA! Nice. Did make it to the euro-thing yesterday in raleigh for a walk-around with my wife and child. :) She's at church now, and I'm at the office waiting for a mass photo-resize to finish before upload....

Anders, I didn't see you there....I left around 1pm, and there were quite a few bikes still there.

It crosses Alexander Dr near Page Rd...and continues down across Chin Page Rd. I haven't been on the section across Chin Page yet....would like to check it out though, because it dumps out right at I-40 and 540 near those ponds. Those ponds are surrounded by trails also. You can see them as you drive by, or on Google maps satellite view. You can see ALL of these trails on Google satellite.

Just to the left of the big building in the middle....you can see the trails heading south.

Forget the link, it won't link to the location I'm entering...keeps defaulting back to the other end of TW Alexander Drive.

Just Google 2012 TW Alexander Dr. Durham NC. It comes up on Roma, that big distributor there near Page Rd.
