Looks like it was a blast.
Did anyone ride North Pass or South Pass and did anyone do any exploring north of The Escape Route on the east side of the pavement? Did anyone find "The Rocks from Hell" route in this area? I'm still not sure exactly where that particular trail is because it is only marked on some roll charts.

after 5 months of planning and organizing, this nOOb hit the road thursday afternoon
![]() mootsuno put the banner up where many can see it ![]() i can see it now, this is going to be a fun weekend ![]() there are riders, but sean is "the rider" ![]() after pitching my tent, i was too tired to stay up so the night was uneventful.......... next morning, dualbadger and dirtdiver dropped off the firewood....that's just half of it, more were brought in by stevets and ramjet ![]() a beautiful day is shaping uo...and yes bob, that's my truck if you're reading... ![]() went across the other camp to see the dakar twins (dean and dave), but instead met the haski bros (bad dean and bad dave) ![]() lilzing gave up the gsa for this italian diva ![]() marci's cool ural ![]() the airbornes...keith and justin (fixed!) ![]() this exc and 610 came out prepared for the long haul. ![]() airbornedad did a great job of printing a big map for everyone to use.. ![]() my group started to show up. great meeting these guys, not exactly noobs just mellow riders. ![]() everyone made sure they have gas ![]() the sign at psr gas station ![]() the morning temp at the spings ![]() our first destination is ballarat, so we headed towards trona ![]() more later...

Here are my pics... our group took more.. On Saturday we did a modified version of the chloride ride with more dirt, had a great time racing thru Titus Canyon with Riceless and his gang . and Sunday we took a ride out to the hot tubs... and saw some nice... well you know..

I ran into the group by accident. I was in DV with a friend and we decided to ride to the hot springs on Friday. We stop for gas in Panimant Springs and I see all these bikes. I ask someone and he informs me it's the nOOb ride. I haven't been on advrider much lately and had no idea. So we take off for the hot springs and at the saliene valley turn off, there is a lone Husky. I stop and make sure everything is ok. He says yes... Then says "what's up Nate?" I almost fall off my bike. Who the he'll is this and why does he know my name? It was mootosuno. Small world! I really should keep up on adv rides.
