Wasn't bad yesterday and it has more time to dry out. I'd say it'll be right nice by Sunday

I should know a few roads around there also. Very scenic country side.

Rob those blockades are for the horse riders that ride the hills. We can try it out if they are not around but the weekends in the spring time draws a pretty good crowd. You probably realize the trails heads up to the backside of the tower.

The million dollar bridge for no one is surprising to be out there in the hills. Great photo opportunity and a must stop to soak in the view.

I wonder if any of you guys have heard about Charles Manson relationship with the Short Mountain area. The stories have been around since the 70's. gives more meaning to the crazy shit you see up there and has been that way since the early 80's when I first went up there.
Thanks for the heads up on the horse thing. I saw horse tracks on the upper trails by the towers but not on the lower ones. Looked a lot like rock crawlers and other OHVs owned the lower ones. We were told last week that rock crawlers owned quite a bit of it by some local wrecker driver. Surely they won't mind some lowly mosicles. I did see rock crawlers all over the place yesterday...all parked at houses, but there.

You comin' with?

I've seen 30% the last few days...nothing has changed. However, that means nothing. Earlier in the week there was a 20% chance and it rained on me HARD for 3 hours.

I'm in either way. It's my last day of break...not gonna spend it wishing I was outside.

I'm with you. I don't care if it rains. I just don't wanna be there if everyone bails and I have no idea where the trails are.

The Drx400e my son bought had the big tank on it and he hated it so he traded it for a full set of plastic and stock tank what he didnt see is that there was no petcock or front mounts on the tank he got. So if anyone has a spare tank with the parts they want to sell call me. six one 5 six 5386 nine one.

Are you talking about Cooper Hollow rd? What gravel is between that and Duttons? What the hell man, did i miss something! The only reason I wanted to start at Dutton's is the parking and supplies if anyone needs them. Makes no difference to me. We can still hit those if you like. Been chased by a bull up ther once. No match for the katoomer but I did poop a little .

I'm gonna come play tomorrow on the Adventure Ninja . Sounds like mostly gravel/dirt and a bit of 'other' exploring. I won't hold you guys up by trying to tag along if it gets to be a little too much.

The main reason I want to come play is to push the limits on the bike (and my meager skillz) while relatively close to home- much easier to crash/tear things up here in TN than when I'm across the country and decide to do some off-road exploring

See you guys tomorrow @ 0930 at Dutton's Store (which from what I can gather is right by Dutton's STORAGE (?)...)

In for the easy trails and twisties. The DRZ needs put back together, and I'm just too lazy today. Stealing the old mans weestrom, so take it easy on me. IHF, are you trucking over or riding?
