Thought I might need this for a little while, wife said "Do what you want" on Saturday, and then when the vacation account was still in-tact on Sunday, I guess she thought I decided to pass on the bike. She wasn't terribly happy when I showed up on it last night. Fortunately, after a while, she came down to check it out and after a quick once-over deemed it a good deal!

I'm planning on putting the red frame DRZ in SandalScouts garage once I get it running, oh, and scavenge all the way cool bling-bling from it.

shock

THE SHOCK is amazing, also new spacers and progressive springs up front. I have a clapped out stock system on the 06, and a cogent shock and new springs up front on that green one I did the road side repair in in hickman. The 06 is for sale!!

HAHAHAHA, do you get out on the 80 very much? What does Cogent offer for the KLR? I always hear good things about them, but their website is not very up to date, they only have a rear shock and steering bearings listed for the KLR currently.

Thanks man, I'll keep that in mind. Not planning on using the KLR for anything hard core, so I'm just going to ride it for now, but I'll definitely keep this in mind.

Does anyone local have KLR doo tools that I could borrow when I get ready to do the doo? I'm not ready to right now, but will be soon, sure would be nice to not have to buy $50 in tools to use just once. Heck, I'd be glad to rent them.
