Punkins aren't real important until Halloween, anyway, so no big loss.....

I'm thinking I may need to add some covered parking at the office.

Short Mountain Moonshine

If anybody is out and about in Cannon County you need to stop by Short Mountain Distillery and take the tour of the facility.....

Did I mention they have FREE SAMPLESOF 105 PROOF MOONSHINE.

Just some pics from the last couple of rides.

SV trip with Nasty, Jessie and Thread:

I went to meet Baja and Nasty at Puckett's before their Hickman ride.

cyclists getting ticketed??
prob for hogging up the d@mn road

Pics from a solo ride.
Found this old house.
Seems it might have been an old hotel at one time.
Full of all kinds of stuff:

It was out on this ^ ride that I ran into new inmate "Spinnit man":

Spinnit said he had been wanting a smaller "dirt" bike, so I showed him the banana.
A few days later (yesterday) he took her home.
His wife dropped him off at the house and we went for his maiden voyage:

And of course no ride would be complete without someone "falling"

We had a really good ride. Spinnit was riding the DRZ at a real good pace. Heck he almost rides that thing better than me..... probably does. He doesn't mind exploring and getting rough and dirty....should fit right in with the hooligan crowd

I found lunch for you Twisty... you can take your pick

OR

Yea.... so today I just about got paid back.

Was creeping around a large parcel or development land. Had scoped out all the aerials online and laid out my tracks. SInce I had done mainly all street today I was running about 30 in the tires. As soon as I got back into this development land My fuel went on reserve. So I thought I've got 15 miles of gas left and surely this loop I've drawn isn't more than 3-4 miles. So off I went. The riding was awesome, grassy trails and some whooped out old jeep roads, really fun. I was about halfway through the loop when I looked down and my GPS was dead. SO I figured I could hopefully remember the turns from looking at the aerials. Well it seemed like the trails were a lot longer than I guessed. I dove out of some powerlines back into the woods. What I thought was a trail was almost non-existant and getting worse. I was starting to get nervous about gas AND finding my way out when WHOOP.... running 30psi and hitting a downed tree that's wet and hidden in tall grass doesn't mix. SO I get crossed up and thrown.

I pick the bike back up and can smell gas coming out of the carb. $hit... I gotta get out of here. SO I regroup, drop the air to 15 or so and back tracked the whole way I came in. Please don't run out of gas. You guys ever done the "low on gas cruise" where you go as fast as you can go in each gear at 1/64th throttle .

Man it felt good when I knew I was getting close to the road.... and even better when I got to the gas station.

You always try and be careful when riding by yourself but you can never tell what'll happen But at leasy I didn't have to put up with BajaDog all d@mned day

Dude that looks like the Bates' Motel. So cool. Tnasty and I rode with wet boots most of the day. Never made it to coble. Did find downtown centerville. I found the slick side of a water crossing. It wasn't slick when I went thru the first time. Found BIG downed tree at the end of tatum creek. And the Swedish Bikini Team was at little piney.
