Oh yea, I forgot to mention, you haven't ridden in real mud yet.....

So, has anyone decided to ride Sunday? ...and where?

I'm weather and butt dependent. I should be ok to ride tomorrow.

I was thinking about meeting at Fitz's Restaurant in Erin at the intersection of Hwy 13 & 49. That should be relatively central for a lot of us. If the rain is out west, then ride local to Erin and stay on the east side of the TN river. If the rain is holding off or really light, cross the ferry to Benton Co and ride the Big Sandy peninsula. There is a fair amount of gravel between Erin and the ferry if you know the right roads. I know a fair amount of gravel out on Big Sandy too and most of the roads are decent for the big ADV bikes. I'll be riding the Big Blue Mule if I ride.

PM me if you need my phone number.

I would suggest 8 AM if you want to eat there and leave out to ride at 8:45 AM latest. Rain is expected later in the day so the morning ride will be driest. I would expect rain to start around 2 PM on the west side of the TN River.

For PsychoChem - I carry my phone and if it's not raining, it should be mounted to ring through to my helmet. If you have a GPS or smart phone, I can get you current and anticipated coordinates to meet up at. PM me for my number.

For those with 2 way communications, I will have my FRS frequency radio with me if you want to try the bike-to-bike (Troy).

And I'm out. Got home, got dressed, opened up garage...and the clouds literally opened up as I was wheeling the bike out. And it didn't stop either so I am just dropping out...not worth getting soaked/freezing 50 miles before the fun part of the ride hahaha.

boneyard in 1hr

Hey guys, I'm itching to get outside so I'm going to ride over to the Antioch Bonyard to check it out from 1:15 to 3:15 or so. Shoot me a text if you want to ride six one 5 - eight 9 one - 0 eight 8 eight. I've not been there before but as it's only 5 miles from my house It's worth a shot.

It's right around here I believe: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=36.03...num=1&t=m&z=16

PS - dont' know much about boneyard and will be ripping on the enduro bike...with the rain and unknown terrain I wouldn't show up on a big adv bike.
