I ride with a guy who rides one of these like it's a little 125, but then he's an ex AA rider. Yeah, he has to wait for me a lot.

It's been a while since I've ridden a big bore 2 stroke, but the thing that keeps coming to mind is the word "Brutal".

Any of you local guys running a TuBliss setup on the road? I just read about this at http://www.nuetech.com/index.shtml . Looks like a great idea, especially if you can run a tire sealant (not Slime) inside the tire at the same time.

I'm thinking "off road only" is just the legal jargon. I don't see any reason why this would not be applicable to street use, especially at 100 mph or less. Supposed to make the tires run cooler, too.

Randy, I ran a tubliss on the rear of the XT. It did perfectly fine on the road.

They only issue that I have with it, is that you have to pump the inner bladder up to 100PSI. I broke a larger slime airpump attempting to do this, and it was a PAIN IN THE BUTT to manually pump it up using my portable mountain bike pump I always carry. I was at home, and found it a pain, it would be even worse on the road, or in the woods.

All in all, I really liked it, it worked perfectly fine. The limits of a compressor and potentially issues with that are the only thing that would stop me from doing it now (and the fact that the KLR has a 17" rear, not available from Tubliss).

I just got a bike that the PO put a TuBliss system in the off road set of rims. I got the Sumo rims also. I am a little apprehensive about repair after a nail and how to plug the tire. I know what you do for a tube but here not so much. I have an air compressor so home repairs on the inner bladder are not that scarey but field repairs can be tough. I have to do some more reading about what works.

Never too soon to think about the next ride.

Sequatchie "Fun Run" this weekend on Saturday?

We could throw in some short "rough stuff" sections if the crowd wanted too.

Oh - - - - neither.

I went over there for a test ride it and when I started to put a leg over the seat, the bike turned around and bitch slapped me.

I said I was sorry, promised to never try and ride it again....... and walked home :(
