MY two SV trips, first rode out with no clutch lever and the second time I had no rear valve stem. Looks like you guy's had a lot of fun (and burgers).

Many of those roads are paved but, much of the main levee can be ridden and that is 90% dense grade limestone gravel.

I was able to either ride on the levee or parallel the levee from Tiptonville, TN all the way to Hickman, KY. Very little traffic, good surfaces, great ride. I know lots of the MO levees have gates and limit traffic but I did not run into any of this on the TN-KY side. There were also some muddy trails that ran along the river but with my bald rear, I did not explore any of it today.

This would be a great time of year to do an extended levee trip and camp along the way. This would not be suitable for summer due to the bugs and humidity along the river. I'll be looking to get back over there again to continue the ride another time.

Nice lookin ride! I'd prefer this WAY over rock crawling. Must ride with you one day...

I invited myself over to FU's for the inaugural restart of the fo-fid.

Started like a champ but something is still not perfect.....has a tick that we've got to figure out.

If anybody knows of a good deal on a standard streetbike, I'd like to hear about it. I haven't found anything of value on Craigslist in a 400 mile radius. I'm hoping someone here has a friend of a friend kind of deal they wouldn't mind sharing.

You might also try using Yakaz.com for specific searches. It searches Craigslist, Ebay and others based on location.

The price is fair. I can't say enough good about a Wee. If I was on the student budget plan, that is the one bike I would own. Every time I get back on Della's, it reminds me why I fell in love with that ride. It may not be as dirt worthy or have the punch of the Tenere, but it sure is a fun ride that will still fly on gravel roads.
