Man what a ride today! I just now got in the house. There's a storm brewing up so I had to unload the bike as soon as I got home. Just wanted to check in and thank everyone for the excellent day! No one got hurt and no bikes gave us trouble.

I just unloaded in a light rain and when I got in the house the bottom fell out !
and yes what a ride, Jason, Scott, Uncle Jessie, Matt, Burt and me. We did have a ball in SV Rain on Friday so not to dusty, little slick here and there, but all in all it was GREAT

It is with much regret that I passed my beloved Scout on to a friend, I hope he has many wonderful rides on the little painted pony......and as a replacement......Miss Yamaha 1992....her name is Ginger.

No dirt for me this past weekend. 1,400+ miles from Friday AM to Sunday PM on a quick 2-up ride up to Dairyland in Wisconsin. It was cool and sometimes rainy - perfect for the ST1300 as it is a furnace to ride in the heat of summer. There are some really great roads up there and such beautiful valleys to behold. It's always worth the trip to ride up there.

[QUOTE=ihatefalling;21759862]Ooohhhh . .I'm a little sore today

Damn - my arse is still sore....and some muscles I didnt realize I had. There were a few times we were really flyin - jeez. No broken bikes or bones - HOW??

Of course yesterday I'm pressure washin the Gas Gas and the crumby kickstand let the trusty steed fall to her side and bent my bars a little on the left. Good reason to order a new pair of high rise Pro T's last night

BTW - who are these Goofy Goobers? Ya know, those are some unmotivated weak middle fingers - everyone too tired to lift their arms.

Small world!!! Zayne sent me a pic of his "new" DR and I told him I had seen that bike somewhere before. Now I have another Hickman accomplice.

Great ride! Thanks for taking it easy on me for my first ride at SV!! Would love to ride it again, might bring a lighter bike. Spent a good bit of Sunday digging the mud and cleaning up!

Y'all are always posting strange Craigslist finds on here from Tennessee. I thought that someone should pick this on up. I just don't understand the logic. Health problems aside, I would have picked up something else. Isn't the front end of this thing designed to compensate for the lean when turning?

Wait, what????? Maybe the new rear end is added back to add some new element of mystery back in? Those are bad enough looking in stock form (although they get really good reviews from even die hard motorcycle guys), I can't imagine being seen on that beast.
