If your redoing wheel bearings use schaeffers grease... I saw a gsxr those bearings were toast, used schaeffers and they were almost good as new... This stuff is amazing.

Hey, Bud!

I actually bought another one 2-3 days after I got yours. That $1600, and the money I was going to spend on it, bought the second one. It already had the big tank, Wolfman bags, skid plate, etc.

I did hear from the guy who bought it and it sounded like he was riding the crap out of it.

How was Dale Hollow?

Hey JEV - I'm gunna do what TJ said.

Nachi are supposedly the best - most OEM are Nachi.

I'm gunna get some at a bearing shop - unless they try to triple the cost 'cause I'm a walk in.

If you find out they cost at a local place - please let me know.

Also - we've got a bearing puller you can use.

If your spacers are shot (grooved) IMO you should upgrade to steel lined spacers. Standard spacers are all aluminum and groove from grit easy. Steel lined are harder - last longer.

I need to get some fork oil too - need to find out how much I need.

Yes, the hex is 17mm. White house is a bit far for me but, I'll check an Ace hardware or two before I give up & order through Kawasaki. Thanks for the input.

I think I've used a little over 1 quart for both forks. Do you think the bearing shop has spacers as well or is that a KTM order?

you'll have to order the spacers from a website. If yours are grooved right now it's no big deal you could still run them for a while. You can change the bearings and run grooved spacers no problem.
