WHEEL BEARINGS

Hey TJ - Thread - Others?

So I called BDI about wheel berings.
For NSK (they said a premium bearing) the want $32 per bearing. DOes that sound right ot ya'll?

The didn't have Nachis but, I searched them online and they are just as expensive.

I'm wondering if they are worth twice the money of Pivotworks / Allballs?

Better rotate that picture or all the oil is going to drain into the combustion chamber and out the crankcase breather.

Cal accuratebearing.com. Yeah, that's right. I said CALL them. $32 is ridiculous. Should be $6-8 per bearing.

Try Bearing & Supply over in Paris, TN. Jim usually beats most other bearing houses on prices. At least on some of the big ones that I use, I save some serious cash at times. 731-642-0622

If he has them and you want them, I will be headed to the poker run on Sunday.

Hey Wanker... OEM bearings @ KTM World are $14.32/each, seals are $10.49/each, and spacers are $22.51/each.

Pivot Works rear wheel bearing kit is $26.99 from RMATV.

Dunno if these spacers have the steel insert in them...

Whoa!? Poker run! I am in! I been riding track days on the striple too much!

Also: when I took my bike to Michigan and strapped it in the back of the truck, on the way there some fork oil leaked out when I took it off.....Rode it, it seemed fine. I don't think any has leaked on the return trip but how would I know if I blew a fork seal or it needs fork oil?

Also probably should use saturday to put some new tires on (D606 me thinks....)

Not to worry. We will meet up and ride again sometime soon.

If any of you Clarksville boys want to ride down to Puckett's together for the Poker Run, let me know where to meet. I plan to run through Erin and down via Dickson to get to our start point.
