Did you end up going with the Ricor inserts?

Cool, I'll try to PM some setup advice tomorrow. It took me a couple of tries to get mine where I liked em. If all else fails on the fork cap, order from partzilla.com, might still take a week, but their a lot cheaper and I've had good luck using them.

Bike did well. I even got to flattrack it through some loose stuff.

Holed up in East Glacier tonight. Road to the Sun tomorrow!

Don't you hate the "pilot car" bs that they use out west? Seems like a waste of time and fuel to me, not to mention that I really doubt I would get lost on the construction site.

And I really hate being "Bear Bait" on some of those mountain roads while you have to wait for the pilot car to return. Expect more construction on the Road to the Sun.

Wishin' I was out there again....

So far I've only seen one pilot car and I didn't have to wait around. That particular stretch was 9 or 10 miles of gravel on 89 southeast of Browning. Pictured above is a pickup truck with a slide-in camper. He was hauling pretty good all the way to East Glacier, so I hung in behind him to block some of the wind. Bear bait worries me. Actually bison bait worries me more. BTW, I had a bear 25 feet from my tent the other night outside of Cody.

I have to say I think this ride is the best thing I've ever done. I've had a blast. I hope I can write a ride report that fully captures the experience.
