Thanks, if you like it there you will love it after I get it back from Cool Springs Kawa.

351 kit being installed (I'll be able to double the mud accumulation).

And a set of 1 1/8 inch pro tapers and adapters are being put on.

I can't wait!

Very cool!!

Be sure to post a ride report.
Ive been pondering the idea of taking a KTM 250 4 stroke and installing a big bore in an attempt to create a do it all dual sport woods weapon.....still light but with longer legs for short pavement hops.

I know very little about KTMs, especially when it comes to models not available at this time. Just recently started reading specs on them. I also assume you are NOT talking about factory street legal bikes. So, with that in mind....

Why not just start with a 350? I was under the impression that the 250s and 350s were nearly identical, but the 350s are 6 speed, obviously have a bigger engine, and only weigh like 4 pounds more.

Just curious what the rationale is, and if I'm missing something else.

Yeah, fixed my post earlier on. Somehow goofed it.

Jason, ur still a turd (that was my quote).

350-yeah, had a 350SX. Wouldnt mind trying a properly modded 350EXC, prices are still high.....and not sure I want another FI bike.
250 RFS, carb'd, light, durable with big bore.

Ah, gotcha, that makes sense. 250 RFS(used) vs 350EXC(new) is literally a $6000-7000 difference. I'd really like to test ride a new 350EXC, but no way I could afford one (well, let's be honest, no way I could convince my wide to let me spend $10k on another bike), so I best not.
