Thumb You're killin me!!

I'm looking out the window of my office in Northern Idaho at the snow/rain and dreamin of AZ. I was born and raised in Southern AZ - learned to ride there. You pix are excellent and brought back incredible memories of times in the desert; sunrises and sunsets. Thanks!!!!! I am planning a trip back to NM and AZ this summer and your pictures have really wet my appetite.

Thanks again for sharing your adventure. O how I wish I was a flat lander again.

This one is from the Point-n-Shoot. I can't post a before and after from the DSLR since I shoot in RAW file format, but it's an even larger difference for sure.

I increased color saturation, added a feathered vignette, increased blacks and contrast, and sharpened.

I second everything mentioned about your wonderful camera work. I thought initially you might be using a sky 1-a filter. But it would not have done that much. I have a lot of washed out mid-day shots that are unappealing. I am going to try some correction. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Allen! I assume you are back in Washington? Let me know when you are in AZ again. Good luck on your Alaskan Journey. I wish I could join you.

BMW riding gear is good quality stuff, but I can't afford any of it either. The riding jacket in these photos is the Olympia Bushwacker paired with Olympia Airglide pants. My pants are pretty baggy in these photos because I recently lost 60 pounds and 7" in the waist. I will be ordering another pair of Airglide pants to replace these.

For cooler weather I wear and can recommend the Tourmaster Transition Jacket and Caliber Pants.

Thanks for this amazing journey. Having "just" posted an RR myself I can certainly appreciate all the time invested editing and converting all the pictures. Which, and I don't think anyone's mentioned this, are outstanding

Once again, thank you so much, it's been a blast
