Who wants to ride LBJ Grasslands near Decatur this Saturday?

Would like to explore a few backroads in the LBJ Grasslands area this Saturday. Weather should be good.

Anyone want to join? The KLR is half-way into the break-in mileage since the top end rebuild, so looking to stick to mostly backroads to keep the revs down. Some gravel and some twisty paved would be just fine.

I'd love to, except, well, I'm late. Next time?
The weather was absolutely fantastic, hope y'all had fun.

How did it go? Find anything worth shouting about? Any hidden gems?

Yeah find anything good? I was up there about a week ago , I decided to run up in the evening so the ranger station was closed and I couldn't get a map. Everything I went down unpaved was a dead end except for one road. No big deal I was just hoping for more riding without turning around.

I road quite a bit of pavement up there last year. I was having fuel issues so I didn't get a chance to hit the gravel.

The single lane paved stuff I road had great scenery and wasn't half bad (for pavement).
