Hey Soph , you did awsome . That dirt bike experience you have from when you were young certainly helped and it shows. Once you put on those more agressive tires it'll be night and day... I thought you said it would be about 10% offroad ? Seems to me it's 50/50 so far.

a road is a bit smoother and does not make a bike with Tourance tires hydroplane....at every turn.

OK, now I see why it's so green up there

yer gonna like the K60s

we both have mudslings on our bikes, and it WORK GREAT and now I am going to need new boots...I think I trashed my Alpinestars...I really commute to work everyday and did not know i would enjoy this type of riding so much. I know the 650 suspension can not take too much but it can handle this type of road/trail with the preload as high as it can go. The K60's I think will give me more confidence on mud.....so i am looking for a new Dual sport boot...any ideas for two chicks?

Hey Soph. Congrats on finally getting the bike for one. Second, looks like you're doing the same trail as the Spring Newbie Ride. Why weren't you there?????

OK Levity. For all that fancy schmancy suspension you got on there I'd expect that thing to be a lot dirtier!! And then, let me know how you like the suspension.

Ya, I was blasting past most of the KTMs on that ride. It's not as rough so the extra horsepower kicks ass.

You'll love the K60s. I'm riding those and love em. (think i told you that on the other forum).

If you do that ride a few more times and get your confidence up you'll kick ass real soon. There's lots of water bars and pot holes you can get air out of.... and bottom out the shitty rear suspension.

yeah I can attest to the amount of water....felt like I was on a boat...and as for those who think I took it slow all the way...I actually edited out the high speed areas because my stupid cam and the amount of wind noise it picks up was ear drum blowing.....
