Cool2 Overhaulin'

Ok seriously, the whole bike section needs overhauling. One subsection for BMW boxers, one section for all ktm's, thumps which covers lots of brands to include the two previous.
The bike section is a Cluster F**k.
I want specific info for specific bikes. I don't need to weed through two pages of slander and flaming.

This forum has crashed and burned. It easier to get info elsewhere.

Though it does seem to involve swimming through a river of sewage (from the usual suspects) to get there sometimes, this is still the place I come to to get the best info. So while I agree that it's time to reconsider the configuration of the bikes section, I don't just have a strong opinion on how best to divide the forums. Poll, anyone?

Definitely keep Strom and BMW owners apart though. Cats and dogs make better housemates.

I love my Beemer brethren. I try to help deprogram them, and with some success. I have seen quite a few move over to DR-land where we are all sort of communistic.... no one is greater than his brethren and we share all things in common..
I have seen longtime GS riders move to the Weestrom and are just thrilled with not spending money on it other than voluntary farkle, and thrilled with the handling, backroad-ability, etc.

And I've seen 'em go the other way. And believe it or not, there are a few enlightened households that have both!

put it this way... it sure beats hanging out with harley riders in drag...

Well, even if they did switch production to China, mine will always have been built in Europe. I don't think they'd recall it, disassemble it, ship the parts to China and rebuild it there.
