Very cool. And it hasn't discolored with age. About double the length of the Italian one I have my 4RT. I do value the ability to NOT bother the neighbours with noise when you live in a city.

Wt*

Took my new to me 4RT out for a ride this afternoon. Lets see, start on 2nd kick, check; wheelie over a few ruts, easy; climb a hill and hop a rock at the top this is fun. OK, now back tire stops with a screech, WT* see disc brake red and on fire. Didn't see that in the manual. Thought I must have a stick or some such sh*t holding the brake pedal. nope. Rode back to truck and put a bit more slack in the pedal and bled off some fluid. Seemed beter, any one else have this happen to their 4RT?

After I overheated the rear brake on my 4RT I had to replace the rear disc. It never worked properly after getting that hot. I've overheated lots of brakes and not had to replace the disc. The hydraulics of your brake are the same as any other modern Trials bike.

Since my last, I have taken the Montesa out two more times and the brake seems to work better. I bled some more fluid through it, and didn't see any bubbles come out, it will brake slide the tight corners now. I am not much of a trails rider but this bike[Cota 4RT] is pert good and much fun. It must have been a lack~a~slack thing?

Here is mine with some new plastic and few goodies.

Next up is a little vacuum bagging for some carbon goodies.

When was the last time you seen two Montesa 4RTs together. I have only seen three of them, counting these two. Oh yea there was a Gas Gas there also. Wetsiderider had his new to him 05 out for its first shake down run. Mark was showing us how it is done with his trusty 280 GG 2 smoke.

Well I guess I stand corrected. But then I have only been riding around Walker Valley for 48 years or so and must have missed all of them.
