Looking good Dave! Been gone for a week myself and just caught up. If you get to Louisville KY be sure to PM me. Bed and tools and lots of spare parts if needed.

John

Yes, and keep the wool next to your skin. Wool is the best insulator known to man, natural or synthetic.

Keep up the good work! Awesome.

I love trip reports. I did a 6k trip last summer and look forward to my next one. With a 4 week old baby it won't be this year.

When you get to Mass. feel free to look me up, I can point you to some great riding - Green Mtn's VT and White Mtn.s NH are nice and where I live in the Berkshires is very nice.

Yes i did. I lowered the entire bike with a PD lowering link. Then i cut out 2 inches of the seat and added 1 inch of that gardening knee pad foam from Ace Hardware. It still isnt a great seat, but that is more do to the design of it. Cruise bikes are more like car seats. With this bike you straddle it, so one can only made it "so" comfortable.

Yes everyone please PM me a few days before i get to your area. Ive made a list of some people, but its hard to keep up with everyone. Also because there are so many of you guys i won't be able to hit everyone, but i will try to hit as many as i can.

Thanks everyone for the comments and the words of encouragement. Ima goin keep on thumpin.

shooter. How do you like the under $20 tanks bag? On my bike with 5.8 tank it hangs lower on the seat. But it looks like a perfect fit with you 4.7 tank. Ben

I literally just looked at the map on my phone and it looks like there is more roads then what I thought I was told. Hmmmmm I think ill head into town and get better directions and also some gas. Then its off on an adventure.
Glad to see your still keeping it upright. Leaving Powell tomorrow for Natural Bridges. Very windy tonight...

Finally...

Finished it all and subscibed...

Nice report. I'm loving it.....espescially 'cause you're on an XRL. That makes it more of an adventure.

I think it's totally awesome the support of the FF's on this website.....offering garage space, sleep space and beer.

Way to go guys I'm not quite riding yet but I can appreciate the support you all have for a fellow rider. Nice.

Cheers

ShooterDave......you may have just inspired me to write a RR about my trip to Wood Buffalo Park, Yellowknife, and the Corners of Alberta.... thanks.

So, can we expect you to be in Texas in July or something? . - the weather obviously isn't the deciding factor for you.

Windshield

Dave......noted the windshield on the L. Where did you get it and how is it performing? Thinking of putting one on mine for longer trips. Great RR, looking forward to more.
