Rain, I haven't figured out what to do about it yet, I have no problem staying dry and warm, my shield doesn't even fog up, but it gets wet and I can't see. Wiping it off every ten seconds gets old fast, wax, rain-x, detergent, nothing seems to work for me.
Use Pledge furniture polish on your visor. It will not hurt the plastic, and the water runs off like magic. I live in Thailand, so know a bit about rain.....

Nice ride report, just caught it now. Glad to see you went to Newfoundland. I spent time in Corner Brook and loved it. Did the Cabot trail as well, but in fog the whole way.. :-(

Well my injuries are doing great. They are not holding me back at all, and I've been doing many more physical activities now that I'm in better shape. Including working out. Granted since things are moved, I sometimes get pressure points on it, but its all good. Pretty much like it never happened, aside from the appearance of it. O and the popping.

Well today ill be heading up the 89 north. Not really sure where ill sleep tonight, but I'm sure ill find something. Stayed in the mountains last night. Almost next to the snow. Reminded me of my Yosemite trip. It was cold.

WOO! Are you serious? I just saw you in the new HRCA issue, skipping through it real quick and then seeing my one and only local dealer! SO WEIRD! LOL! Yeah they're cool guys, and that's the place where everyone gets stuff for any sport! LOL that's awesome dude! I'm def subbing now!

So I got published in the Honda Red Rider Magazine. Here is the link to their page.

http://hrca.honda.com/publications/redrider/

Also a bit of good news. I found a riding buddy for the RTW trip. We are both very excited about it. It is a "will happen" thing. Hopefully this article will help with sponsors.

Good job on getting in the magazine! I'm still trying to get logged in to read the article.

It starts on page 36. If you open the PDF file; under the table of contents, click the title of the article and it takes you right to it.

After the whole 3 part series runs, you need to casually contact the folks you spoke to when you did the meet & greet and subtly drop hints about looking for sponsorship for the next big adventure on your Honda. See if anybody bites. Might hit up the bigger dealerships in the area too. One of them might have aqn interest now that economic times are somewhat better.

Damn son, what a trip! All without a $20,000+ dirt bike and half million in support crew! Just finished reading it, why aren't you working FOR Honda and riding a brand new pig?

I can't believe nobody has posted here since May! What are you up to now? Hows the RTWT planning coming?

Great tale and adventure for a young man but you missed the best parts of Idaho, better get packed and head back!
