I was at the auction in Rhinebeck, some beautiful bikes there, glad some followed him home.

Looking forward to seeing some of those beauties, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Thanks for the update Scott! I didn't remember seeing that Ariel on my first visit and now I know why. But then, there is SO MUCH there that I still can't get over it. Thanks for the pics!

Update. The museum is looking to open in April 2011. There is still a lot to do and that involves a lot of...work. There are more goddam bikes than you can shake a stick at and he's still getting more in.

These 3 got wheeled in the other day like the guy was delivering a hand truck of soda. Put em over there...

I've indicated to Ted that I can possibly come up with some willing hands who'd like to volunteer some time. This boils down to basically "working with the bikes". Push these over here. Put this on up on here. Lets get air in these tires. These ones we put over here, put them over there. So basically a (in my opinion) rare opportunity to hang out and fuck around with 300 some odd antique bikes, get a free lunch, and waste a Saturday. Ted has given me the OK to canvas the advrider general public for volunteers. If spending a Saturday doing this kind of thing sounds fun, PM me. its in Newburgh, Orange County, and 5 minutes from OCC! .

this is the "back room" of the downstairs. when you can't find a good wall of death, you go buy one in Germany where everything is, German made.

shouldn't everyone have a German wall of death?

What a great way to spend a couple of Saturdays. If I only lived closer.

I'm available Sundays and Mondays. Hit me up if they need the help on those days.
