I'm really looking at getting the Jesse cases. I have a TT tail rack that I would like to keep. Does anybody know if this will work with the Jesse cases? I was reading the installation PDF on their website and wasn't sure.
BTW anybody wanna sell their 8" set? I prefer the charcoal ones. wizze screwed with this post 07-06-2010 at 10:10 AM |

I have a similar question; has anyone hung the Jesse side bags and a BMW top case?
I also looked at the Jesse install pdf .... looks like it should be do'able, maybe longer bolts on those two rear ones that the Jesse rack uses to accomodate the lock down plate for the top case. Before I spring for the Jesse's I would like to know I can keep the top case I already have.

![]() I emailed with that question and Rick said he thinks it should work, but couldn't say for sure. I am not anywhere near my bike now....when I get home next week I will check out the top plate installed and compare with the Jesse install manual, and see what we can see. I wrote the note here in case there are inmates who have dealt with this particular combo already. when I bought the bike I didn't know what kind of cases I wanted, but I knew I definitely wanted a top case. So I went with the BMW top case and held off with the panniers until I could do my research. I am happy with the topper and don't want to drop another $500 for a Jesse top case.

I don't remember it being much of a problem and they had a fairly good description.

Notice in Too Many Toys' picture the rack seems to be leaning back a bit, that's what I'm talking about.

I like it a lot. The bag zips off the base so its easy to remove. And since the 800 has the fuel under the seat there is no need to remove the base. I electrified it also.
